Since Ford refuses to tell me if my Focus has been recalled or not, I’ve been driving my dad’s 2019 Forester while he’s out of state and I’m kinda ashamed to admit that I really like it. It’s not fun to drive at all but it’s just so perfectly competent at everything that I find myself thinking nothing but good things about it. It’s a fantastic car for people who don’t care about cars.

Also, I was able to talk him into the brown paint, so that has to contribute to my positive feelings about it.

I appreciate competent cars truly. They just make you feel so satisfied with your life. This world may be messed up but hey you got a competent car

Some cars are so meh, it’s kind of liberating. I had a rental camry a while back, and it wasn’t a terrible experience. I never cared where I parked it. No one ever reved at me. People didn’t come over and ask “what year is that ? Or “did you  restore it your self?" . It was like being invisible, and kinda nice.

That’s how I feel about my e90. It’s reliable and feels confident in almost every situation. Except the two times if had it stuck. But to be fair both of those involved over a foot of heavy snow.

We’ve got a 3 pedal 2017 forester. It’s a librarian mobile, but it does it all and well for cheap!

Yes, my Daily is fancy and “new” thankfully I still have one car that is an absolute wreck!

I rode in a friends forester a while back and don't really remember much other than that it was comfortable for 2 hours of driving.

Bought an 09 a few months back, and I gotta agree if ya. It is probably the best “car” car I’ve ever owned. It does everything within reason so well, obviously not as engaging as a sports car but for a run-about it’s hard to want much more.

They’re fine, but I’m coming from the Recaros in my ST so it’s hard to really judge seats after having something that amazing.
